Leena AI Secures $30 Million in Series B Funding Round

Leena AI, a conversational AI platform, recently secured a Series B financing round of $30 million, bringing their total raised funds to $40 million. Bessemer Venture Partners led the round, along with Greycroft, an existing investor, and an investment from B Capital Group, led by Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin. The fresh capital injection is aimed at ramping up product innovation to cater to the global demand for their platform among new and existing clientele. Leena AI has ambitious plans to broaden its suite for employee experience, extending its offerings to IT, Sales, and Finance teams by early 2022. They’ve been actively hiring across various departments such as technology, engineering, marketing, and sales.

Anant Vidur Puri from Bessemer Venture Partners expressed excitement about partnering with Leena AI, emphasizing the company’s shift towards a more user-friendly, conversational approach in enterprise HR, meeting the evolving needs of the modern workforce. While Greycroft’s Mark Terbeek highlighted the pressing need for disruption in HR processes and praised Leena AI for modernizing HR through automation and machine learning, ultimately enhancing employee engagement in the enterprise.

CEO Adit Jain envisions Leena AI as the equivalent of ‘Siri for employees,’ aiming to expedite issue resolutions for employees. He stressed the challenges of legacy internal helpdesks and how Leena AI’s Employee Experience Suite tackles these complexities at leading enterprises. Jain also emphasized how this investment will further enhance the enterprise employee experience, using AI-powered conversations and insights to elevate their platform. Established in 2018, Leena AI operates as an independent conversational AI platform that focuses on enhancing employee experiences within enterprises.
